Aultman College provides ongoing education on Title IX, sexual and domestic violence, harassment, and anti-retaliation throughout the year.
For Students
All new students receive training during orientation.
For Employees
Faculty and staff participate in mandatory annual training, covering topics such as Sexual Assault Prevention, Trauma-Informed Care, Sexual Violence, Human Trafficking, and Stalking.

Title IX is a federal law passed in 1972 that protects students from discrimination based on sex in school programs and activities. At Aultman College, it also ensures a safe campus environment free from sexual misconduct and provides clear steps to take if you experience or witness such behavior.
Sexual misconduct is a broad term that includes sex discrimination, sexual harassment, sexual violence, domestic violence, dating violence, and stalking. It covers unwelcome verbal, nonverbal, or physical behaviors that can occur on or off-campus and may involve students, staff, or outside individuals.

Reports to college personnel or security are forwarded to the Title IX Coordinator, who may investigate the incident. Confidential resources do not report your identity unless you give permission.
