Graduation Requirements

You’ve worked hard now here’s what it takes to reach the finish line!
Before earning your Associate of Applied Science in Diagnostic Medical Sonography (AASDMS) degree, you’ll need to complete a few key steps to ensure you’re fully prepared for your next chapter as a registered nurse.

To graduate, students must:

• Successfully meet and complete all AASDMS program curriculum requirements
• Meet the residency requirement by completing 65 credit hours (30 general education and 35 sonography) at Aultman College
• Meet the clinical competency requirements
• Complete a minimum of 6 hours of community service
• Finish financial aid exit counseling and resolve any outstanding financial obligations
• Complete the Graduate Exit Survey
• Return your student ID badge and any borrowed equipment, library books, or program supplies

These steps ensure you’re fully prepared academically, professionally, and personally to take the ARDMS and begin your rad tech career with confidence.
